Gregorys has never had a Robusta coffee on the menu in the history of the company. After finding this gem we are embracing these savory flavors to share a unique coffee from the other side of the world - a land of great beauty and tradition. Our offering from Vietnam springs from the growing region of Dak Lak in the Central Highlands. Here you will find flavor notes of toasted basmati rice and cocoa powder. This coffee has a medium body with a silky texture. We approached this delicate coffee with a roast profile that is slow and low developing the sugars while enhancing the body. We kept it light with a low end temperature, though you may notice a variety of color on the beans. This comes from the fermentation and drying at origin. Oh yeah, did I mention that Robusta contains twice the amount of caffeine as Arabica?
